Il y a 124 ans à Crozet : le 11 août 1901 Le Gauss, navire de l'expédition sud-polaire allemande (Deutsche Südpolar-Expedition), dirigé par Eric von Drygalski quitte le port de Kiel sur la mer Baltique.
